Weekend Racing Report - April 9, 2005
6th Street Road Race - Kalamazoo, Michigan
At the 6th Street Road race in Kalamazoo young Derek Timmermann put the hurt on the competition in the Junior Mens Race. Derek (all 115 lbs of him) soloed away on the biggest climb of what's described as the hardest road course in Michigan for years, to win handily. This is the teams first victory for 2005!!!
Also racing were Jeff Hamilton (16th in the Pro/1/2 Race) who was up against some of the best pros in North America. 4 guys from the Advantage Benefits Endeavor team showed up and dominated the field. These guys came straight from the Redlands Classic Stage Race in CA. It was probably the first time anyone from Tasmania was racing in Michigan!

Graham Howard takes the victory for Advantage Benefits/Endeavor
Jason Rafeld raced the Cat 3 race and DNF'd with a broken chain. Yes, the climb was THAT STEEP!
In the Masters 35+ race John Meyers took 2nd and Houston Peterson took 3rd.
